For residence, add a report by an accredited appraiser and the application: $116, $174 or $231 (300, 450 or 600 lari) for 30, 20 or 10 days. In Batumi the apartment is checked before the deposit

Mistakes cost more than registration: an apartment in a building under construction instead of a completed one, debts and encumbrances in the registry, or a valuation below $150,000, with which no residence permit is issued. Murblz support removes these risks: we find an apartment, check the registry extract, the building and the seller, order the valuation, and handle registration and residence documents together with locally licensed partners.

The cost of support depends on the budget and the goal of the purchase; a manager will calculate it in the chat.

What residence permit buying an apartment gives

An apartment worth more than $150,000 by valuation gives a 1-year short-term residence permit for the family, renewed while you own it. The value is confirmed by an appraiser accredited by the national accreditation body, not by the contract price, so an apartment close to the threshold is valued before the deposit. On the list, the 96 m² apartment by the New Boulevard for $160,000 meets the threshold.

An investment from $300,000 is the basis for a 5-year investment residence permit for the whole family, and after 5 years of ownership a permanent one. A foreigner buys an apartment outright on the same terms as a Georgian citizen, and no visa is needed to buy. The residence application is filed in person at a House of Justice. How we find an apartment

  1. Goal and budget: living by the sea, letting, a residence permit or all of these. The manager clarifies the district, the size and the condition: renovated or a frame for your own finish.
  2. Shortlist: apartments in completed buildings at the seller's price, with building fees and a yield calculation.
  3. Checks: the Public Registry extract, encumbrances and debts, the building's commissioning and, for residence, the accredited appraiser's report.
  4. Deal in person or by apostilled power of attorney: registration of title in the Public Registry in 1-4 working days and the residence documents.

The manager sends the shortlist in the chat, with the sellers' prices on the date of the shortlist.
