Business accounts: Kazakhstan
An honest assessment before work starts, the quote is fixed in writing.
We assess your chances against your profile, prepare the compliance file, help you present your source of funds properly and handle communication with the bank until it decides. The final decision always rests with the bank, and careful preparation improves the odds.
We quote the exact cost for this country after a short consultation: it depends on the bank and your residency. The quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

How opening the account works
- Incorporation documents, business identification number, ownership up to the ultimate beneficial owners.
- A business description, counterparties and payment countries, source of capital.
- An in-person meeting with the director; the bank checks links to sanctioned countries and persons.
AIFC company benefits
- Until 1 January 2066 centre participants pay no corporate tax on financial services in the centre or on legal, audit, accounting and consulting services to centre bodies and participants.
- Participants' employees and their families get visas of up to 5 years and work without work permits for foreigners.
- Ordinary trading or manufacturing does not qualify: a Kazakh partnership suits them.
Why banks refuse companies
- Owners or counterparties are linked to sanctioned countries and persons.
- No real activity in Kazakhstan: an office, staff, contracts.
- Transit payments without a clear business purpose.
- The director cannot attend an in-person meeting.
