- Minimum income - 27,576 lei per month (≈ €5,400). The threshold is tied to three times Romania's average gross salary: from 30.03.2026 the base is 9,192 lei.
- The visa is issued for up to 6 months and can be extended.
- Tax: for stays of up to 183 days, Romania does not tax your remote income; if you stay longer and become a tax resident, the flat 10% personal income tax applies.
