How an investor couple from the UK got Grenada citizenship

Oliver and his wife were looking for a second citizenship that would support their international lifestyle and long-term family planning.

The goal

As private investors with business interests in several jurisdictions, they wanted to diversify their residence and citizenship options while keeping flexibility for future travel and relocation. After comparing several citizenship by investment programmes, the couple chose Grenada.

How the Grenada programme works

Grenada grants citizenship for a non-refundable contribution of $235,000 or more to the National Transformation Fund, or for a share in an approved real estate project from $270,000. The contribution covers the main applicant and a family of up to four. Applications are accepted only through a licensed agent. Each applicant needs the government forms, a medical certificate, a police certificate, birth and marriage certificates and proof of the source of funds. In recent cases processing has taken about 7 months; after approval the investment is made within about 30 days, and the passport is issued within 4-6 weeks.

What we did

Murblz provided guidance on programme eligibility, investment options, government requirements and the due diligence process. Our team coordinated document preparation and communication with the professionals responsible for submitting the applications. The case required careful organisation of financial documents and personal records from several jurisdictions. Throughout the process we kept in direct contact with the clients and updated them on the progress of their applications.

Successful outcome

Both applicants successfully obtained Grenada citizenship and their Grenadian passports. Applications are filed remotely, so there is no need to travel to the island to apply.

In accordance with our NDAs, we do not publish clients' surnames, photos or documents: the photo is illustrative.
