Relocation services

Open pricing. The final quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

Relocation is more than a visa. Moving to another country drags along bank accounts, cards, money transfers, housing, taxes and the legal side of your business. We support the whole process: residence permits, permanent residency and citizenship, personal and corporate accounts abroad, advice on exit grounds and border crossing, transfers, real estate and company registration.

Everything starts with your situation: we look at your citizenship, income sources, family circumstances and goals, then build a step-by-step plan - which country, on what legal basis, and what to open first. Documents are prepared together with you, and each task is handled by a dedicated specialist.

Step by step

  1. Assessment. Citizenship of every family member, income sources, business, assets, timing and constraints: where you cannot or do not want to live.
  2. Country and route. Work, business, investment, retirement, study, remote work or family reunification. The route sets the timeline, cost and path to permanent status.
  3. Tax map. Where you will become tax resident, when you stop being resident in your current country and how to avoid paying tax twice.
  4. Accounts before the move. Open accounts in advance: after your status changes, a bank in your former country may restrict service to non-residents.
  5. Documents. Certificates, diplomas, police clearances, apostille or consular legalisation, translations.
  6. Filing and status. Consulate or immigration service, biometrics, residence card.
  7. Settling in. Renting or buying a home, health insurance, school, address registration.
  8. Renewal and next status. Tracking deadlines, days of presence and conditions for permanent residency and citizenship.

Documents to prepare in advance

  • Passports valid for the whole application period.
  • Birth and marriage certificates, diplomas. For the roughly 130 countries in the Hague Apostille Convention an apostille is used; others require consular legalisation.
  • Police clearance certificates: they have a short shelf life, so they are ordered close to filing.
  • Proof of income and source of funds: statements, contracts, tax returns.
  • Sworn or accredited translations where the country requires them.

Taxes when moving

In many countries you become tax resident after more than 183 days in a year, but rules differ: home, family and centre of vital interests also count. That is why the departure date, asset sales and dividend payouts are planned before the move. For Russian citizens, note that since 8 August 2023 Russia has suspended the main articles of its tax treaties with 38 countries, so double tax relief with them does not work.

We build a step-by-step relocation plan, handle the status application, open accounts, find housing and support the family until residence cards are issued. Each task is handled by a specialist, while one manager keeps the overall plan and timeline. The quote is fixed in writing before work starts.

FAQ

Where do we start?
With a consultation: we go through your citizenship, family, income sources and goals, then propose countries and legal grounds. A well-thought-out plan matters more than rushing to file documents.
Do you help with bank accounts and cards?
Yes, opening personal and corporate accounts and foreign cards is part of our work, along with transfers and currency and crypto solutions.
Do you work with families?
Yes, we support the relocation of the whole family: status for spouses and children, housing and everyday practicalities. The scope is defined for each specific situation.
How long does relocation take?
From a few weeks for a digital nomad visa to a year or more for investment and family routes. The timeline depends on document preparation, consulate appointments and immigration queues.
Do my documents need an apostille?
For the roughly 130 countries in the Hague Apostille Convention, yes. Others require consular legalisation, which takes longer.
When should I open a foreign bank account?
Before the move: after your status changes, a bank in your former country may restrict non-resident service, and the new bank will want source of funds documents.
How do I avoid paying tax in two countries?
Plan the departure date and change of residence, and check whether a tax treaty applies between the countries. Since 8 August 2023 Russia has suspended the main articles of its treaties with 38 countries.
How much does relocation support cost?
It depends on the country, the route and the number of family members. After a consultation we quote the fee and fix it in writing before work starts.
