The role
US citizens, green card holders and new arrivals face some of the most complex tax rules in the world. As US international tax advisor, you'll guide clients moving to and from the United States through their obligations and choices.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on pre-immigration planning, residency starting dates and the tax impact of a green card
- Advise US citizens moving abroad on reporting, foreign income and expatriation, including exit tax rules
- Prepare and review FBAR, FATCA reporting and related international forms together with partner firms
- Work with our immigration attorneys and international tax counsel on client plans
- Write clear tax memos and keep our tax materials accurate
What you'll bring
- An active CPA license or Enrolled Agent status
- 5+ years of US international individual tax practice
- Deep knowledge of foreign income, foreign entity and expatriation rules
- The ability to turn complex rules into a clear plan for a family

- Experience with clients holding assets in several countries
- Spanish, Chinese or another language from our list

Compensation
Competitive base salary, based on experience, skills and location. Our HR team will share the pay range for your location on the first call.
Location
You can work from our office in the US (Austin, TX) or remotely from anywhere in the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to sponsor employment visas for this role.
English is our working language: fluent English (C1 or higher) is required for every role at Murblz.
