KYRGYZ CITIZENSHIP

The Kyrgyz passport is issued in accordance with the Presidential Decree and current legislation. Only those born on the territory of the RSFSR, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan before 1991 are eligible for issuance. Persons born after this year cannot apply according to the standard procedure, except for the accession of minor children to the citizenship of their parents.

Timeline: 4-6 months

It is important to consider the requirement of residence in these countries from 1991 to 1997 to prove eligibility for citizenship.
